I've assembled the main part of both blades from three pieces; the handle, the blade and the blade tip. I've started forming the blade shape, sanding down the sides to smooth it down to a simulated edge.
The assembly is going to be straight forward, this design isn't as exotic as the various Final Fantasy swords.
